Kalle Toivio received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Manhattan School of Music in 2017. In the Fall of 2018 he will continue his organ studies with James David Christie in the Artist Diploma program at the Oberlin Conservatory. Kalle Toivio is the organist and director of music at the Church of Notre Dame NYC, and he was the third prize winner at the 2016 AGO NCOI in Houston, Texas. He is the founder and sub-dean of the Finland Chapter AGO. Dr. Toivio is a member of the organ faculty at the Manhattan School of Music Precollege. For more than seven years Kalle Toivio studied with the late McNeil Robinson.
