Matt Bickett, from Portsmouth, Ohio, is a fourth-year student at Oberlin College and Conservatory, where he is pursuing a bachelor of arts in religion and a bachelor of music in organ performance. Matt has recently been accepted into Oberlin Conservatory’s accelerated master’s of music in historical performance program, where he will continue his studies in harpsichord and organ. He studies organ with Jonathan Moyer, harpsichord with Mark Edwards, composition with Elizabeth Ogonek, and choral conducting with Gregory Ristow. He received the 2017 Presser Fellowship from the Presser Foundation. Matt serves as director of music at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Amherst, Ohio.
