Ryan Kennedy is an increasingly busy concert organist and improviser. He has become known for “enterprising and vigorous” performances delivered "with unassuming authority" (The American Organist), including Bach’s Clavier Übung III and Trio Sonatas, Messiaen’s La Nativité, and Duruflé’s complete works, often delivered as sets. He also improvises extensively on given themes, recently in the form of complete symphonies. His recordings have been broadcast this past year on NPR, WQXR, and BBC3. Ryan is currently a Master's student at The Juilliard School, studying with Paul Jacobs.
